Designs a novel rotary heat exchanging direct evaporative all outdoor air handling unit (AHU). Presents the inner structure and working principle of the unit. The unit changes exhausting air parameters using the room with constant temperature and humidity under the summer condition. Tests the performances of AHU under different operation modes in the summer condition including rotary heat exchanger alone, refrigerating system alone and integrated operating. The testing results show that compared with the operation mode of rotary heat exchanger alone, the unit with integrated operation can regulate supply air temperature more effectively, and that compared with the mode of refrigerating system operation alone, the evaporation load of refrigerant system is reduced greatly and it is increased when the indoor air supply temperature is raised under the integrated operation mode. The system uses exhaust air after rotary heat exchanger to cool down the condenser and decrease the condensing temperature efficiently, which contributes to greatly increase the refrigeration performance coefficient.
